Description of Double Roller Granulator
Double roller press granulator is composed of a pair of rollers with opposite rotating directions. Each roll has a certain number of die holes engraved on its surface. Powdery material enters the hopper. With the continuous rotation of the roll, the material enters the die holes and is gradually compressed. Fertilizer particles fall off from the die hole under the action of gravity. The extrusion process of the roller press granulator is a physical compression process. The force is mainly related to the radius of the roll, the size of the die hole and the filling degree of fertilizer. For the same type of double roller press granulator, because the roller radius and die hole size remain unchanged, the action force mainly depends on the filling degree of the material. There is no temperature rise in the production process of roller press granulator, and there is no need for drying and dewatering. The material does not react chemically, so it is very convenient to process.
