In fields such as agricultural resource utilization and environmental waste treatment, materials with high moisture content, high viscosity, and high fiber content are frequently encountered. Traditional crushers are prone to clogging and have low efficiency, which has long plagued the industry’s development. The half-wet material crusher was developed to address this problem. It is a specialized crushing equipment designed specifically for processing high-moisture, viscous, and fibrous materials with a moisture content of 20%-60%. With its unique structure and superior performance, it has become an indispensable core piece of equipment in many industries.
Compared to traditional dry crushers, the core advantages of the half-wet material crusher are its anti-clogging and high adaptability. Traditional equipment relies on screens to control particle size. Wet materials easily adhere to the screen holes, leading to motor overload and frequent shutdowns. The half-wet material crusher, however, adopts a screenless design. Through the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor, materials meeting the particle size requirements are directly discharged, while coarse materials are circulated and crushed, solving the clogging problem at its source. Simultaneously, its dual-stage rotor upper and lower crushing technology achieves highly efficient “material-to-material” and “hammer-to-material” crushing, effectively preventing high-fiber materials such as straw and medicinal herb residue from entangled in the equipment.
Its working principle revolves around a “shearing + extrusion” composite mode. After the material is fed into the machine cavity by a screw feeder, it first undergoes a pre-compression structure to reduce its viscosity. Then, the high-speed rotating moving blades and fixed blades create shearing force, tearing and crushing the material. Finally, a secondary extrusion shaping process ensures uniform particle size. The equipment is equipped with high-alloy wear-resistant hammers, whose service life is 2-3 times that of ordinary hammers. The bidirectional gap adjustment technology allows for flexible control of the output particle size, eliminating the need for component replacement, making operation convenient and maintenance costs low.
The half-wet material crusher has a wide range of applications. In agriculture, it can process livestock and poultry manure and straw silage, providing qualified raw materials for organic fertilizer production. In environmental protection, it can crush sludge and organic waste, facilitating the resource utilization of waste. In the food and chemical industries, it can process fruit and vegetable residues, distiller’s grains, etc., turning waste into treasure.
As a specialized piece of equipment that solves the pain points of crushing high-moisture materials, the half-wet material crusher not only improves production efficiency and reduces operating costs, but also promotes green agricultural development and the upgrading of the environmental protection industry, becoming an important bridge connecting waste and resource utilization.
